Mandatory Documents (Must Have)
1. Aadhaar Card (Compulsory)
Why needed: For biometric authentication (fingerprint & photo) and identity verification
- Original Aadhaar card or e-Aadhaar printout
- Aadhaar must be linked to your mobile number
- Biometric data should be updated in UIDAI database
2. Registered Mobile Number
Why needed: For OTP verification during online download and card generation
- Must be active and in working condition
- Should be registered in PMJAY database
- Preferably linked to Aadhaar
Supporting Documents (Recommended)

Ration Card
Helps verify family composition and eligibility. Useful if family details need to be cross-checked.
Family Member Aadhaar Cards
If adding family members to the card, their individual Aadhaar cards are required.
Address Proof
Voter ID, Driving License, or Electricity Bill (if address verification is needed).
Any Government-Issued Photo ID
PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License as additional identification.
