What is eKYC?
eKYC (electronic Know Your Customer) is digital identity verification using Aadhaar. It ensures that only genuine beneficiaries use the Ayushman Card for treatment.
Visit CSC center or empanelled hospital with your Aadhaar
Operator enters your 12-digit Aadhaar number
Place your finger on biometric scanner
System matches fingerprint with Aadhaar database
eKYC complete! Card activated.
Access via beneficiary.nha.gov.in or Ayushman app
Enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number
Receive 6-digit OTP on your phone
Enter OTP within 10 minutes
eKYC complete! Card verified.
If fingerprint fails repeatedly (common for laborers, elderly), iris scan is the alternative:

Fingerprint not matching
Clean fingers, try different finger, use OTP method, or try iris scan
OTP not received
Check if mobile number is linked to Aadhaar, ensure network signal, wait 2 minutes, retry
Aadhaar not linked
Visit nearest Aadhaar enrollment center to link your mobile number first
Server timeout
Try again after 15-30 minutes, or visit during off-peak hours (morning)
