PMJAY (Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana) card, also known as Ayushman Bharat card or Golden Card, is a health insurance card that provides ₹5 lakh annual coverage per family for secondary and tertiary hospitalization.

Visit Official NHA Portal
Open beneficiary.nha.gov.in on your mobile or computer browser. This is the official National Health Authority portal for PMJAY card services. Ensure you have stable internet connection.
Click Download Ayushman Card
On the homepage, locate and click the 'Download Ayushman Card' or 'Download PMJAY Card' button. This will take you to the card download section where you can choose your verification method.
Select Verification Method
Choose how you want to verify your identity: Card Number (14-digit PMJAY number), Mobile Number (registered during card generation), Aadhaar Number, or Ration Card Number. Select the option you have readily available.
Enter Details and Verify OTP
Enter the selected verification details (card number/mobile/Aadhaar/ration card). Click 'Get OTP' and enter the 6-digit OTP received on your registered mobile number. The OTP is valid for 10 minutes.
View and Download Card
After OTP verification, your PMJAY card details will be displayed on screen. Click the 'Download PDF' button to save the card to your device. The PDF will contain your card with QR code and all family member details.
Save or Print Card
Save the downloaded PDF in a secure location on your device. You can take a printout for physical use or keep the digital copy on your mobile for hospital visits. The card is valid nationwide at all empanelled hospitals.

Note: You only need ONE verification method. If you don't have card number, you can use mobile number, Aadhaar, or ration card number instead.
Save PDF Securely
Save the downloaded PDF in a secure location on your device. Keep backup copies on cloud storage or email.
Take Printout
Print the card on good quality paper. Laminate it for durability. Keep physical copy for hospital visits.
Verify Card Details
Check all family member names, card number, and QR code are clearly visible. Verify coverage amount shows ₹5,00,000.
Keep Digital Copy on Mobile
Save PDF on your smartphone for easy access. You can show digital copy at hospitals for admission.
Share with Family Members
Share the PDF with all family members listed on the card. Each member can keep a copy for emergencies.
No Expiry - Valid Permanently
Downloaded card has no expiry date. It remains valid as long as you're eligible under PMJAY scheme.
❌ "Card not found" error message
Solution: Verify you entered correct details. Try different verification method (mobile/Aadhaar/card number). If card was recently generated, wait 24 hours for system update.
❌ OTP not received on mobile
Solution: Check mobile number is correct and active. Wait 2-3 minutes for OTP delivery. Check spam/blocked messages. Try resending OTP after 5 minutes.
❌ PDF download not starting
Solution: Check browser allows pop-ups and downloads. Try different browser (Chrome/Firefox). Disable ad blockers temporarily. Check internet connection is stable.
❌ Downloaded PDF is blank or corrupted
Solution: Re-download the card. Update your PDF reader app. Try opening on different device. Clear browser cache and try again.
❌ Website not loading or showing error
Solution: Check internet connection. Try after some time (server may be busy). Use mobile data instead of WiFi or vice versa. Contact helpline 14555 for assistance.
❌ Wrong family members shown on card
Solution: This indicates data mismatch. Visit nearest CSC center or Ayushman Mitra desk to update family member details. Call helpline 14555 for correction process.
Use Only Official Website
Always download from beneficiary.nha.gov.in. Beware of fake websites with similar names charging money.
Never Share OTP
Don't share OTP with anyone. Government officials will never ask for OTP over phone or email.
Download is FREE
Official portal never charges for card download. If any website asks for payment, it's a scam.

Don't share card number, Aadhaar, or mobile number on social media or untrusted websites.
Verify Downloaded PDF
